Another question for Dr. Braverman girls.....
I am going to see him on Wednesday. I was just wondering what tests do you think he will do? (and does he do them right there or does he send you to a lab?)
I have already had the following tests done by my OB and Dr. K....
Saline Hysterogram FSH Test Estradiol Karyotype Anticardiolipin/Antiphospholipid Antibodies Horm1 Factor V Leiden Prothrombin Mutation Antithrombin Levels MTHFR Mutation Protein C and S Levels Anticardiolipn Antibodies Lupus Anticoagulant Antithrombin III Antibodies
Could there possibly be anything else that was not tested?

He does about a ZILLION lab tests. Plus he does some tests at a Boston lab.
If any of them were over a year ago he'll probably want to repeat.
Good luck!

I have no idea what exactly he tested me for, but it took about 27 vials. I had already had a bunch of other tests as well....

Are these boodtests coverable under insurance? I usually have to use an in network lab to get covered.

sorry to say I am not fibbing either- the tech counted the vials and there were indeed 27.
the 27 vials was for clotting, immunity and other "stuff" that Braverman checks for- that was done at Quest...
Other things like FSH, insulin, etc he takes at his office.

Re: Another question for Dr. Braverman girls.....
I just started seeing him, i had 30 tubes of blood taken at Quest, then about 4 or 5 in his office and then on CD3 another 2 or 3. He tests for EVERYTHING and all at once, but I love that about him because he knows how desperately we want a baby and that waiting even one xtra day feels like an eternity.
Good Luck, you are in great hands

Yes mine were covered, but I had to go to Quest which is my insurance company's lab of choice.
