Another question for pumping moms....
When you pump, do you ever pump into a bottle that already has milk in it? Meaning, if you have a bottle that you pumped into and there is still a lot of room, do you pump into that bottle.This is before the baby has taken the bottle.

I have the 1-2 oz that i pumped prior in the fridge. I pump in to the container or a BM bag that comes with the pump, then add that to the BM in the fridge.

I read that it is fine. You can combine any milk that was expressed within the same 24 hours.

To avoid waste and for easier thawing & warming, store milk in 1-4 ounce portions. Date milk before storing. Milk from different pumping sessions/days may be combined in one container – use the date of the first milk expressed.
