Another Quick Lite read if anyone is interested..

My mom had some random novel laying around her house that I started reading and couldnt put down.

It is not recent but it is called American Star by Jackie Collins. Starts off in the 1970s and works its way to the present about two kids from a small town who grow up to be famous.

I fell in LOVE with the main characters and didnt want to put the book down at all. I am actually sad I finished it. There is some off color humor and a lot of sex so if you are not into that, be warned. but it is a great quick read and a really really good story.

Just putting it out there if anyone needs a book to pass the time :)
