Another Reason News 12 Annoys Me
Last night News 12's ticker said the following:
"Nassau County buys East Meadow Farm". Seeing as I live in East meadow and have never seen a "farm" I went to the News 12 website for more info. NOPE! Nothing! You would think that if it's in the ticker they would have more info. Nope! The site only covers six stories, one of which is the ever important story of the controversial SNL sketch. Anyone know of a "farm" in East Meadow? Is it the garden center next to Speno Park?

I love what LI considers a "farm". I'm from Upstate NY (270 miles NW from here) and I have a completely different concept as to what a farm is.

I love what LI considers a "farm". I'm from Upstate NY (270 miles NW from here) and I have a completely different concept as to what a farm is.
Come out to the East end, you'll see farms here.

I have. Those aren't farms. This is the typical farm you'd see in my hometown.
