Another Sleeping Question
My daughter is 8 weeks and usually has her last bottle around 8 and then goes to bed and gets up around 3 for another and goes back till about 7. My sister keeps telling me to try and keep her up later and then feed her and she won't get up at 3 but she really just wants to go to bed and i can't get her to stay up. How do you think we will eventually get rid of the 3 AM feeding. Will she just not get up or will we have to somehow change our schedule.
Thanks

Re: Another Sleeping Question
geez....DD was every 2 1/2 hrs till she was 3 mths old. She'd eat around 4am and then one day she held off till 6:30am!!!
She'll drop that 3am feeding on her own....don't try to keep her up. Babies know when they need to sleep.

Re: Another Sleeping Question
My DD is 12 weeks today and still gets up every 3-4 hours to eat. I would love a 3 am feeding if she went down at 8!

Re: Another Sleeping Question
My son had the same schedule at that age, waking to eat at 3AM; 7 hours after the bedtime bottle. After I put him down for the night at 8, I'd pick him up and feed him while he was mostly asleep at about 10PM. He'd then go right back to sleepl. He could then go til about 5AM before waking to eat. Now at 11 weeks he doesn't need that "Dream Feed" (baby whisperer book) and sleeps til about 5:30-6.
