Another spinoff to the confession post

What is going to make u a great mommy?

I was feeling guilty as I wrote all those things so I wanted to make a list of all the things I did right!

1. I refuse to give in to DH name pick of Aristotle. is going to love me more when he finds out what his father wanted as a name later in life

2. I am researching all the different BPA free bottles and have decided on the playtex dropins.

3. I have started going to day care centers and family child cares and at the fact that some parents leave their at these people. I am trying to be very informed about this and proactive!

4. I feeling the kicking.

5. I talk about every chance I get. I already him!

I am sure there is more but I would love to see what everyone else writes!

DH and I are researchers, so we're up on a lot of technical scientific/medical info...

DH and I are patient

we have a lot of love to share

We are disciplined and easily form compromises, so we'll make good role models

I have a lot of experience dealing with stubborn childish behavior (other child AND adult family members ) so I know I'll be a decent and fair disciplinarian

this is a tough one... my friends are all shocked that i am married, let alone pregnant, because of the way i was when i was younger. i am the world's most impatient person, i have a very short temper, i tell inappropriate jokes, and i am very lazy and a procrastinator.

that being said, i did not realize how much i loved this little baby inside me until i thought - if only for a split second - that i had lost him.

so i know that just by loving with every ounce of my being, i'll make a great mommy.

and yes - i am getting BPA-free bottles.
