Another stupid comment--brought to you thanks to my IF struggles
You'll never believe this one:
A teenaged member of my MIL's family is pregnant. She wants to have an abortion, but the girl's mom is adamant about her giving the child up for adoption. However, she wants to stay in contact with the child, so she figured she'd "ask around" the family first.
So, MIL calls and speaks to DH the other night (it's a good thing it wasn't me on the phone) and says "I know you've been having some struggles...would you like Chelsea's baby?"
Where do I begin with this. First of all, this is a BABY, NOT A PUPPY!!! You don't ASK AROUND TO SEE WHO WANTS YOUR DAUGHTER'S UNBORN CHILD!!
Second of all, I really took offense to this.

Isn't it amazing how some people try so hard to have a baby and want it so bad - and others just get pregnant and don't even want the baby.
