Another Target Post- Update
I spoke tot customer service at Target and they said that there was an error on the website and they didn't list that "2" in front of the $42.99 price. (I ordered the graphite one). She said that all orders are going to be cancelled.
Did anyone else speak to customer service?
I just got an email from Target - I am going to give my feedback and tell them I am going to the AG office for unfair advertising - hey it can't hurt!:
'm sorry, but we will be canceling all orders with us for Britax Marathon Convertible Car Seat - Granite . Because of an error, our website showed the wrong price for this item, and we can't sell it to you for that price. If you'd still like to buy the item for the correct price, $249.99, you can go ahead and place a new order.
We work hard to make sure that all of the prices on Target.com are right, but the rare mistake does come up. That's why we always double check prices when we ship your order. In this case, We may choose to contact you for instructions before canceling or changing your order.

That would make more sense.
They should have a notice on their website that it was an error and send e-mail or notifications to the people who tried to order them.

that just stinks!! Did you tell them that now it is selling for 199 so where did the 242 come from? I am just frustrated - I was so excited about these carseats!!!

She said it wasn't noticed until this am when their warehous got hundreds of orders and realized there was an online error (thus fixing it).

too bad, they should honor it. I am going to fight tooth and nail for my carseat at the sale price. We'll see what happens.

They don't show on Target's website.

Then it will worst for Target to prove WHY they shipped some at that price and not others.
I think we all have a BIG chance now. Really! How can them claim an error if they allowed some to cheap at a cheaper price?

exactly....if anyone recieves these seats, please let us know. More ammo for the people who don't get them
