I feel awful for this family - it's a tragedy - but the picture of the mother breaking down rips my heart out. It's intrusive and part of me wishes they had opted not to publish it...

There were a few bad accidents this afternoon - Traffic was a nightmare. for his family. Hopefully people will slow down and be a little more careful

This is so terrible. I feel so bad for that poor family. The loss of their son and their raw emotion being splashed across this article. Newsday should be ashamed of themselve for exploiting this family.
