Another TV related post - has this happened?
This is bothering me...
Cailen will now stare at the TV when its on - he'll even stretch his neck to look behind him - I mean anything - the news, Scrubs, etc...
I do put the news on when I wake up and when I get home, and live for my Scrubs episodes, but otherwise I try to keep the TV off - but DH and stepdaughters also like to watch their shows - I really hate when Cailen watches though - I try to keep him away from it, but he gets mesmerized...
Has this happened to anyone else?

Yup. But he only we don't watch our shows in front of him. I only have the TV on when the shows I let Andrew watch are on.
But yes if you stand in his way he will almost push you out of the way to look at the TV.

My DD did the same. I think they are attracted to the constant movement of the tv and the sound.
DD is 15 months old now and I have the Tv on all day for background noise, she only pays attention to it when a commercial has music-she'll shake her coolie and dance or sing, but otherwise she doesn't care about it at all.

I have the TV on as well, however, DS is not facing it. There are times he will turn to look, however, most of the time he's too busy with his toys.
If he hears music, he does tend to turn his head more.

Yep And hes only 2 months.
Its the lights the like, the contrast.
I dont understand why it bothers you?
He will not make the connection and become a couch potato. HE just likes the constant changing of colors and lights.
