Antibiotics & Birth Control Pill

Because of PCOS, I don't get my AF each month unless I am on a BCP.

My last AF was 2/7, and I was due for it yesterday. On 2/21 I went on a 10 day antibiotic, which I know affects the BCP.

The last time I was active was the weekend before my 2/7 AF. Even though I am on the BCP, I always use a condom as well.

I have not yet gotten my period. I am pretty sure it is because of being on the antibiotic, but I tried to call my doctor this afternoon and they were closed.

Any advice/info would be greatly appreciated. Am I right..could I not have gotten it this month because of the antibiotic? TIA.

I am not sure if antibiotics could delay your period, but the illness that cuased you to have to be on them could.

And yes, antibiotics can decrease the effectiveness of BC pills

But if I am reading your post right, you haven't had sex since before your last AF right?
So pretty much there is no chance you could be pregnant right?
