Antipasto Platter
I want to make a really nice, big antipasto platter - looking for suggestions. What do you put on your platter? Where do you shop? (in Nassau) Thanks!

Re: Antipasto Platter
I don't live in Nassau so I have no suggestions on where to go .. but I can tell you what we use to make a platter
Meats: Hot Sorprasatta Sweet Soprasatta (or Genoa Salami or Peperoni) Procuitto wrapped melon (or breadsticks)
Cheeses: Sharp Provolone Crumbled Parmigiano Reggiano Fresh Mozzarella (or bocconcini: the small marinated mozzarella balls)
Vegetables: Marinated Artichoke Hearts Marinated Mushrooms Marinated Fire Roasted Red Peppers Olives: Cracked (Green w/ garlic), kalamata (purple greek), gaeta (black wrinkly), stuffed olives (sardines, provolone, hot pepper), the large red & green variety (cannot rememeber the name right now, something with a 'c', I forget) peperoncini Bruschetta Tomatos
Breads: Crusty Italian Bread Breadsticks Olive Bread Meat Bread Crostini
Olive Oil Dips: Rosemary & Crushed Garlic Grated Cheese & Fresh Basil Sea Salt & Crushed Red Pepper

Re: Antipasto Platter
You can try Iavarone (they have a few places in Nassau).
But the Uncle Giuseppe's in Suffolk is one of my Favs....they have so much variety. They have an East Meadow location but never been in it.
OH just remembered Fairway in Plainview...you probably can definitely find a lot of stuff.
