Antique Finish / Bronzing
DH and I received a gift that is silver plated and engraved. It is a bit hard to read the engraving (it's a plate) and I was thinking of doing an antique type of finish or bronzing. Has anyone done this or can anyone recommend something else to do to make it easier to read the engraving?
TIA!

It's from Things Remembered but they can be a bit pricey on these things. I figured if I ventured out of the house today, I would try Michaels. I know there are some crafty people on here that I would try first

Silver plating is always so hard to read, I hate that about it. I dont have any suggestions though.....I didnt think there was much you could do to it..let me know if you figure something out.
