Any and all mommies that had babies in May - size question for you
I know babies all vary in size and weight but what size snow suit was your little one in for the first winter? And what was their weight and height?
Thanks!

Re: Any and all mommies that had babies in May - size question for you
end of May baby here! I went through old pics and looked up the info and I probably won't help you at all...
In November he wore a 6-9 months snow suit, but that didn't last the entire winter.
In Dec/January he started wearing a 12 months 2 pc set - a jacket and snow pants. I think this set was on the small side.
end January he was wearing an 18 months snow suit. It was a little big, but since he wasn't walking obviously it didn't make much difference.
At 6 months - 29 inches and 18 lbs 14oz At 9 months - 30 3/4 inches and 20 lbs 8 oz

also an end of May baby here. But the opposite situations. she was such a peanut. I bought all 6-9 mos stuff for fall and winter and she didn't get into the 6-9 mos until Spring. We used a 0-6 hand me down snow suit instead of the 6-9 I bought her oh well. don't remember weight and height but she was no where near 20 lbs til recently at 15 mos old.

I have 2 May babies. (6th and 9th). Both were on the bigger size of things, and they both had size 12 months for their first winter snowsuits.

Re: Any and all mommies that had babies in May - size question for you
this is my second baby born in may so i'm practically an expert.
DD wore a 6-12 mos. one. at the time, i couldnt find 6-9 so it was insanely large.
DS will be getting the same. thanks for reminding me i need to find him one!
eta- my kids are not chubby babies, they stay within their age/clothes size ratio rather well. ds just turned 3 mos. and just got too big for newborn and 0-3 is now getting snug (and to me he's chunky).

Re: Any and all mommies that had babies in May - size question for you
Thanks everyone!
DS is going to the doctor tomorrow so I'll have a better idea of weight and height (for now). I got him a 6-9 month snow suit but then started second guessing myself. He is pretty long (looks it any way) but definitely not chubby. He seems to even be thining out the longer he gets. I am going to stick with the 6-9 and see what happens.
