I haven't had my first appt (scheduled for JAN 8th) but I am due in early August according to my own calculations. I had a 07/07/07 baby...maybe this one will be 08/08/08?! There's actually a good chance-haha.

Today was my first doctor's appointment. He estimated my due date to be in between 8/17 and 8/25. I will have a c-section most likely a week before.

Congrats!!
Yes, bring him! you will get some blood work done, you will both hear the baby's heartbeat and you will get an internal sonogram where you will see your baby for the first time and get pics!

also havent been to my first visit and according to one of those online pregnancy calculators 8/27 could be my due date too

WE told our families on Xmas Eve and a few close friends
Im one of the first August moms since Im due on the first
My first trimester is almost over already - Jan 18th. We go for our Ultrascreen in 8 days!
We will tell the rest of our friends probably the week of the 21st
