Any baby gates you love? or REALLY hate?

We're at the point where we need baby gates...DD is still creeping around but she'll be all over the place in no time at all.

If you've installed baby gates already, are there any that you love? or more importantly REALLY hate and would never buy again?

Brands/models would be really helpful if you know them.

We have the First Years Simple and Secure Gate at the top of the stairs. Very sturdy and easy to open when holding the baby. It is screw mounted to the wall. We've had it up for almost a year and we're very happy with it.

We use the Evenflo top of stair gate. I love it. Easy to install, easy to operate, very sturdy.

I got the extra tall one. I dont remember who made it though.

I have some Babydan ones that I bought on Ebay. From visiting lots of other peoples houses with gates I have learned this...they are all the same, they do the same job, some open with a button, some you press, some you screw into the wall, some you pressure mount. At the end of the day...they are gates and they have one job. You just have to find the opening mechanism that you like
