any BOYS in dance?
DS is begging me to take dance. I personally have no problem with it, but I don't want him to be the only boy/outcast.
ETA: is there a school with more boys?

Look for studios that have hip hop dance. I know there is dance extreme in Commack and Attitudes in motion in old bethpage that have this. It is from ages 4-6.

My DS took a sing and dance class (he was 2)...At our dance school hip hop begins at 7 and he may go back because he loves to dance (and is really good at it)
My friends DS is almost 4 and takes dance also ! And my other friends DS took it at 6 (and shes a dance teacher)

There is a dance school by me that says classes for boys so maybe you could find a dance school that offers that?

My DD had a boy in her dance class. There was also an entire class of just boys that danced about 4 acts in the recital.

hip hop classes usually have more boys in them.
Usually there are a few boys in the classes at that age. in my DD's dance school there are always atleast 1-2 boys in every age level including the seniors.
What you can do is check out your local studios and ask them which classes have boys in it and you can try those out.
ETA...some schools even offer discounts on boys classes.

MY DS takes aboys hip hop class. It is for 2-5 year olds. Its gets really crazy but the instructor is amazing and does a lot of fun stuff with them.

My nephews are in hip hop. My niece has been in dance since she was 3 and the dance school was looking to get more boys in so they offered a free sat morning hip hop class for any boy who wanted to attend. My sister signed both my nephews up last year and they liked it so they are doing it again this year. Not sure if it's free this year.
They go to Long Island Dance Academy. There's one in Middle Island and one in Lake Grove (right across from Good Steer)
Other than the hip hop class there aren't too many other boys in their school. I think there's only 4 maybe.

There's a boy in my DD's dance class. And it's your typical ballet/tap/jazz class too. He's adorable. If I were planning to keep DD in dance I might have considered it for DS too.
