Any Brooklyn girls around????
Just curious if any of you had been affected by the storm, which I was hearing on the street may have been a tornado?????!!!???
I work not far from Bay Ridge and there were sooo many downed trees!!!!!! It was unbelievable with some streets closed off..... It looked like a scene out of a movie.
Just hoping that any who may have been affected are okay.

HI! 
I was able to make it in to work with a mix of walking and the train.
I work right over the Brooklyn Bridge near City Hall, so it wasn't a big for me.
my hubby works in midtown, so getting home for him will be a pain.
I plan on running home over the bridge.
I heard there was a TORNADO in Bay Ridge...right by 5th ave...unbelievable! 
I hope everyone has an easier and safer commute home today.

The tornado hit between 69th Street (Bay Ridge Avenue to everyone who doesn't live there) and 71st. My friend's DH said that trees are uprooted all along 71st and a lot of cars are crushed. He said it looks like a war zone.
I'm a little further down so I wasn't affected by that, but I also took my sweet time leaving the house today. My DH was caught up in a lot of the mess - I think it took him 3 hours to get in. I have to check on my friend who lives on 73rd street though.

by me is finei live more my bay ridge parkway and 15th ave, i saw 5th ave closed off by the BQE it looked pretty bad
the thunder and lighning was horrible i was up half the night consoling my dog!!!
