It’s the news you’ve been waiting for, The Contender champion Sergio “The Latin Snake” Mora will be defending his Contender belt against rival Peter “The Pride of Providence” Manfredo Jr., whom he last defeated in May. This highly anticipated rematch will take place in Mora’s hometown in Los Angeles at the Staples Center on Saturday, October 15th.
The undercard will feature the following exciting match-ups:
Alfonso "Superman" Gomez vs. Jeff "The Hell Raza" Fraza
Anthony Bonsante vs. Jesse Brinkley
and more to be announced.
ESPN will air the event live at 11pm EST / 8pm PST.

I hate Sergio. I was fine until the last episode, then he just showed what an animal he is. You can take the boy out of the ghetto, but can't take the ghetto ... He was completely unprofessional!

I know!!! Go peter!!! i hope peter wins, maybe sergio got to over confident that dose happen alot! I hope i can saty awake if this starts at 11 and there are all these fights before the main fight

omg i know i was so pi$$ed!!!! the ONLY fight that was remotley called right was Gomez...he was going to win regardless BUT that fight should not of even but stopped

The first fight should not have been stopped. Maybe a little while later, but Perez was still standing and Gomez was just doing his job.
Then as much as I hate Bosante, he won that fight. Even Brinkley knew it once it ended.
And then the Manfredo and Miora ... please, Miora hardly even showed up to that fight. There is no way that he won over Manfredo, Manfredo kicked his @$$.
All in all, I should of just went to bed instead of staying up for that bull$hit!
