Any correlation between activity in the womb and real life?
DD was very very active during my pregnancy and has always been very active since birth.
DS is less active in the womb (although more powerful kicks ) so I'm wondering if he'll be more laid back than DD

My DD was lazy in the womb. Always just 'leaned' outward, very rarely made huge movements.
Let's just say she's the complete opposite now She has NEVER been a mellow child
I'll cross my fingers for a mellow child for you though.

Yes!!! My "Twin A" was the one constantly kicking and was sooo active, and has been since she was born, and my "Twin B" was so mellow, only kicked once in awhile, and is totally mellow and laid back.

Re: Any correlation between activity in the womb and real life?
I think so.
DD used to stir at 4 am in the womb... DH would feel her kick. Now, I think her sleep gets a bit lighter at that time. Some days she wakes for a few seconds and goes back.
DS... never felt him at all as his placenta was attached to the top of my uterus and it acted as an "airbag" for his kicks. He was so quiet and such a sleeper... all day and night for several months after he was born. I only felt him late in the pg. He was on the left side and if I was laying on my left, DD was on top of him... he'd punch/kick her back but otherwise he was laid back.

My oldest was very very active in the womb and is a very very active child. However my DD was less active and she is active too. But less so than my oldest. The baby was the least active in utero and he is very laid back (or was before the toddlerhood hit LOL) Even with the toddler fits, he is still more placid than my oldest was at this age.

DS was so active in the womb and is still pretty active at 9 months. So many people say that they find a correlation

Re: Any correlation between activity in the womb and real life?
YES for me! DS was a wild man in the womb and is non stop from the moment he wakes up to the minute he goes to bed. DD was so mellow that some days I would get nervous and poke at my belly until I felt her move. She's still my mellow girl. She'll just lay down on the rug if she gets tired and takes a little power nap. ( All while DS runs in circles around her!)

Re: Any correlation between activity in the womb and real life?
My dd loved to kick me in the womb.
Now when i lay her down to change her diaper, she continues to love to kick me. I have the bruises on my legs to prove it. I change her on the floor, so probable my own fault.

Re: Any correlation between activity in the womb and real life?
DD NEVER stopped moving when I was PG. To the point where I went to my Dr asking him if it was possible for a baby to never sleep in there. She used to kick the crap out of me even when I was walking around the mall.
She's a maniac now too.... she hasn't stopped movig since the day she was born, even in her sleep.

Yes, for my 2. I had the easiest pregnancy with #1, he was very quiet and hardly ever kicked or anything! He's very much like that today.
My DD was like an alien in the womb, and I always felt like she was trying to make her way out through my bellybutton. She's a little terror monkey these days!
