There's a fair/festival in Smithtown on Sunday - all different kinds of things, but doesn't look like a regular craft fair.

Harbe’s starts off its Fall Festivals with an apple–themed weekend of fun at its Mattituck farm. There will be tons of apples as well as their usual Fall weekend offerings which include a big children’s area called “Barnyard Adventure” with pedal carts, pig races, pony rides, hayrides, rubber duck races, a petting zoo and live bee observatory. There is a pumpkin field inside this area as well. Outside of this area, and requiring no admission fee, is a huge farmstand that sells roasted corn and other delicious foods, plenty of tables under mature shady trees, music, a sand box with “dinosaur bones” to be uncovered, a wide green lawn for running, bean bag tosses, and a small climbing structure and tractor to climb on. Across the road is a corn maze, small farmstand, and a huge pumpkin field where pumpkins can be picked off the vines (as opposed to chosen from a big “pumpkin patch” that is actually just a lot where picked pumpkins are placed). The maze here is small and fairly easy to complete and thus perfect for small children. For larger, more complex, and interactive mazes check out the Harbe’s “Middle Earth/Robin Hood” maze in Riverhead just a mile west of this farm on the same road or the “Wild West” maze at their Jamesport farm at 1223 Main Road, Jamesport.
