I think my newest favorite is... when i'm sleeping on my back, sound asleep, and all of a sudden i feel him slowly turning me onto my side and stuffing a pillow under my back... b/c he read that PG women shouldnt sleep on their back b/c of it crushing the vena cava Chat Icon

This is too cute!

My DH is very overprotective as well. We are buying a new house and we aren't moving in for a few weeks because we have to paint and have the wood floors refinished. He doesn't want me near the fumes, and for the most part I agree.

He monitors my caffeine. I was a junkie pre-pregnancy and had to wean myself off it, so I see his point, but I've been really trying to watch when I have it myself. Problem is I get sinus headaches, and none of the meds they let me take help. Caffeine helps....so he understands a little better, but still watches like a hawk. Chat Icon

He asks about the food I eat, especially seafood. And since I've been anemic he's been all over me about my iron. Always asking if I've taken it and my prenatals. And when I don't take the iron (because it makes me sick) and try to eat more foods with it, I get asked what I ate that day.

But it's all because he cares. I knew I a married an anal man and honestly, we are both pretty much like that, so I appreciate where it's coming from. There are moments however that I do want to strangle him. Chat Icon

DH is not too overprotective, but
-I still drink one can of soda a day and he says the baby is gonna want that in it's formula
-I have been sleeping on the very edge of the bed and he wakes me up many nights to tell me to move in, I'm gonna fall off the bed

Now my father surprisingly has said a couple of things also
-i got sick one day a couple of weeks ago and felt like I was gonna faint, he told my mom to tell me to eat more fruits and vegetablesChat Icon
-the room that is gonna be the nursery is full of stuff from my bridal shower, I heard him telling DH that when we have to move it all out to do the room over to call him and he will help him move it out, that I was not allowed to
