Any experience with Fisher-Price repairing/replacing baby swings?

Our swing just crapped out. For the past week, I've been telling DH that I need to call Fisher Price because the motor seemed to be running slower. Whole thing just crapped out - no lights, music - NOTHING!!! I LOVE this swing - it plugs into wall so you don't have to go through endless batteries. Also, this is the only place DS will sleep!!
Anyone have experience with FP and repairs or replacements? This swing was $160 - not cheap!! AChat Icon It's also no longer listed on BBB's site, which is where it came fromChat Icon

Yes, we have the lamb papasan swing. The motor seemed really slow and the music wasn't working - I called and they shipped out a replacement motor the next day. Did you register the product? That was why they were able to.

Yes - we registered it with them. Is it easy to put in the new motor?

Yep they mailed us a new motor, we had to mail the old one back. Wasnt an issue. Is not really a motor..its the whol casing of the motor, so all you have to do is screw off the back and screw the new one back on.

They'll replace the motor if its under a year old. If its older than that, they'll charge you $40.

Thanks, ladies! I actually got it working again but it's really slow so I'm definitely going to call tomorrow.
