any extremely large chested women?
i have an enormous chest (currently, 40H, was a 38F when i first got pregnant) and have noticed that my bras are cutting into the top of my belly now and underneath my boobs. is this happening to anyone else? it becomes painful at times! i'm used to having indents on my shoulders, but this is different :(

My chest was the first thing that grew. I had to go up two sizes in the first trimester, and they are still growing.

Re: any extremely large chested women?
Are you wearing underwire bras? The day I switched to non underwire bras was a wonderful day!!!!! I got them at around 30 weeks at Lane Bryant with a little room to grow and they are still good. I still need to get some nursing bras but they will surely be no underwire!

Re: any extremely large chested women?
When I was pregnant with DD, I had the same problem. I went to Lane Bryant and got a few bras in a bigger band size and it felt a lot better. Personally, I must wear underwires. I feel as though "the girls" are flopping about if I don't. Maybe try a bigger size and also try no underwires and see if it makes any difference. Or maybe try a bra extender. That may help too. Hope you can find a comfy solution.

Re: any extremely large chested women?
I started out as a 40DDD before I was preggo. I am now a 42G.
Can someone shed some light on where you will buy a maternity bathing suit big enough to hold your chest? Also, the ones I've seen don't have underwire. I HAVE TO HAVE underwire. Could you imagine???!!!!
I have no intention of BFing and a gay male friend of mine actually said, "Wow, Jen! That's a real shame. You could feed all the babies in Nassau county with those!"

Re: any extremely large chested women?
oh my geez!! a G??? i thought i was ginormous with an F! haha and you grew A LOT from pre pregnancy. i'll probably become a G when I start breastfeeding! i got a bathing suit at maternity motherhood but there wasnt an underwire :( i couldn't find any bathing suits like that. it was a halter tankini so it held them somewhat but believe me, i felt like they'd be hanging out at the bottom soon enough hell, i can't even find a bra! i had to get a normal bra from georgettes and that set me back almost 60 bucks. i need to find nursing bras and regular bras once the baby is born but i'm gonna be broke! i can't wait to get a reduction!
i would try and get a bra without an underwire but my boobs would be down to my knees and really uncomfortable :-/

Re: any extremely large chested women?
it is so unfair!!! lol there are no reasonable priced bras out there in larger sizes!!! i spent $55 on a strapless bra for a wedding b/c i needed a bigger size than the one I have.....now I need to go buy new bras b/c they are getting tight in the same spot. i can't go without underwire, so when i went to georgette's she suggested going up a band size and it seemed to help. she has nursing bras there too that are $$ but in the right size.
bathing suits are a whole different issue -- i cant find anything to hold the girls in!!!!

Re: any extremely large chested women?
Since I got pg, I've grown into a 42EEE - is that an F some places? I dunno Anyways, I totally second the underwire-free Lane Bryant bras with the extra-wide straps! I've find them to be very supportive & comfortable most days. I tried an underwire bra in this size & it was killing me, so I thought I'd give the u/w-free ones a try and what a relief!! GL with your search

You really should try one on again (you cannot compare a bra to a bathing suit, two different animals. I'm not fully hoisted in a swimsuit either). I got a 44DDD and when I put it on, I wondered what ever made me switch to underwire. Honestly for me... my boobs were higher and better shaped under shirts than with my underwire bras and I got my bras at Blums so I'm not talking improper support. They were good for the first little while but these two Lane Bryant bras (that I wash often because I only got two) are still great and extremely comfortable and much more flattering than what I had. You can go back to underwire after. Go for comfort now.

Re: any extremely large chested women?
Lane Bryant has some comfortable/supportive bras without underwire. You can also try a corsette shop like Georgettes (I think it's in Hicksville). They usually have a larger selection of sizes.
