Re: any good restaurants in ARUBA ??
The Flying Fishbone...you can request a table right on the beach...very romantic
LINK
a new romantic resturant...that is getting great reviews is The Old Man and the Sea (its 2 doors down from the Flying Fishbone)
LINK
both of these resturants you have to take a cab or drive...they are on the other side of the island form the hotels
We ate at El Groucho...it was delcious!!
We just got back less than a week ago..that is why its all so fresh in my mind!!

I second the Sunset Grille - so good.
We also loved Madame Janettes.

Re: any good restaurants in ARUBA ??
There are TONS!!!
Which is why I always suggest not to do all-inclusive...teh restaurants are too good!
Madame Janette's is mine and DH's #1 - we cannot wait to go back and have the best meal of our lives in the best setting.
We mostly like more casual places in keeping with the beachy vacation feel so we like:
Iguana Joe's Salt and Pepper Pancake house

el gaucho and the italian rest across from radisson (forget name)
just be carefuil hen paying at restuarants. Esp Salt and pepper, they show you price in Aruba money and in american and its easy to get confused. FIL was paying the aruba price plus tip so he was over paying by A LOT!!

Re: any good restaurants in ARUBA ??
I highly recommend the restaurant at the Lighthouse, called La Trattoria: El Faro Blanco. It's a gorgeous atmosphere, and you can watch the sunset overlooking views of the island. It's similar to The Flying Fishbone, the only difference is that your feet aren't in the sand LOL! My hubby proposed to me there (so yes, I am biased

Re: any good restaurants in ARUBA ??
Another one for El Gaucho, the best steak!
If you want chinese/japanese food, there is a restaurant in the Hyatt called Japengo (i think) that DH and I loved.
Papiamento was also really good and romantic. It is a house turned into a restaurant. You eat outside around the swimming pool but it is so beautiful with all the trees and candlelight and the food was really good.
