Any Great Mexican Restaurants near Ronkonkoma?
I love Mexican and want to try a new place. I usually go to Viva Juans in Selden. Any other recommendations??

How about spanish? Uh oh...now I forgot the name It is in Nesconset...the building has flowers painted on it...shoot I'm sorry total blank on the name...I am going to have to think about it now

If you're willing to travel a little further, check out Don Riccardo's in Babylon Villiage. SO GOOD! They're sangria is to die for!!

I like Meson ole on middle country rd and my friend swears by Pollo Rico also on middle country rd.
In terms of non -restaurants...I like the place next to blockbuster.
Just FYI there is also one towards nesconset called maria's. Its on portion rd heading west. Not sure how the food is.

what about Ole something. Its in the Blockbuster shopping center on portion. Its the Meson Ole casual dining place. Its soo good!

In Oakdale (prob about 5 miles from Ronk) is Viva La Vida. I love that place!!
The website isn't much but the restaurant itself is very cute!! Great for a date!!

I've been to meson ole several times, and personally, I'm not impressed... the enchilladas seemed 'goopy'
I only know good burrito bars.... green cactus and salsa salsa... both are up by the stony brook/port jeff area

I went to a place in Miller Place once and if I remember correctly it was good. I think it was Don Quijote (sp?).
I think Pollo Rico is more South American than Mexican.

I second this place!
The tapas menu is pretty varied, the food was fantastic and I love the outdoor dining in the summer.
