there was one posted here last week for about $380k on Plymouth Rd in Mass. - great location but needs a LOT of work. It's on a really cute block though - in SD #23.

I'm trying to find that house but I think MLS might be down right now bc I am having a hard time (and I can't get onto our internal MLS either) I'll keep trying.

ETA: The pics aren't showing up though - they must be updating something.

yep. It's a rear dormer cape with 2 front window dormers. It's really tired though - needs work - siding, roof, windows, etc. I also remember that MLS didn't have ANY interior pics which would lead me to believe it was really bad inside. but if you're looking for a fixer upper it's a great location.

Here's the link to the old thread LIF Mass house
it doesn't appear on MLS anymore - maybe it's gone already? It was through Century 21.

Re: any homes for sale in massapequa/massapequa park?
We looked in Massapequa and other areas. In LI from what I have seen if you want to spend under $400K you are looking at a fixer upper.
Go on the MLS. I will FM you a couple of properties that we looked at that we saw - they need work but, if I can get the info from my binder I will. If you need a realtor, I can also give you the name of the realtor that we are working with. She says that many people that she works with are first time buyers.

o i def want handyman specials...but it has to be somewhat liveable....there was a house in pequa that was full of mold to the point where my hubby or the agent couldnt breathe in the house
If there is a house for like 409 or 400 ans needs work, kitchen and bathroom need to be redone....backyard needs work, windows need to be replaced and roof needs to be done soon. what would u offer for 3 bdrms and a full basement, working kitchen (little u shape) dining area and living room?

This one is right on Unqua Road going towards Sunrise Highway - so it's very busy street with all the mall traffic.

Re: any homes for sale in massapequa/massapequa park?
There is one right down the block from me, and a few blocks away there are like 3 houses for sale on the same block. I'm not sure of the prices though.

Re: any homes for sale in massapequa/massapequa park?
thats a nice area - off of Broadway.
Its farmingdale schools, not massapequa (I went to Fdale. I think the sd is great. but massapequa has a better rep)
