Any household remedies to clean a leather purse?
I don't want to try the magic eraser since I heard it can damage leather. any other tips (aside from a leather cleaner)?

for just general cleaning i use baby wipes they work great on leather jackets too.

Rubbing Alcohol also works great, especially to remove ink stains.

I used Muphy's Oil Soap on my saddles, bridles and riding boots. It works great at cleaning the leather.

I used to work for Coach--we recommended mild soap(like ivory) and warm water..make a solution and then wipe the bag with a very soft cloth.....then take a new cloth with just water and rinse it off. This is for deep cleaning obviously, but it does work. Then follow up with the Coach Moisturizer. HTH
