Any ideas for ds's 1st birthday and dd's 4th and 6th birthday combined party??
My ds will be turning 1 in 2 weeks and dd's just turned 4 and 6. We will be having 1 big party for the 3 of them as alot of family and friends are busy almost every weekend this summer. 1 party seems to be the best way to go. Does anyone have any ideas on what i can as far as a theme for them. I cant come up with anything as my ds isnt into any characters yet and my dd's like icarly and hannah montana. I want it to be really special for all of them especially since its my ds 1st birthday but i just cant think of anything. Any ideas would be greatly appreciate!! Thank you!

how about a gender/age neutral theme, like a carnival or beach theme and then get them each their own cake with something they'd like on it?

Luau Theme is gender neutral. Also think of a color theme that may work for boys and girls, i.e. Turquoise and white. A color theme is so easy to do. I did a pink and orange theme for DD's 1st birthday.

My cousin always does a joint bday party for their 3 (each are 2-3 years apart boys & a girl)...e/ child can pick their own theme & they have 1 table each w/ their theme/balloons & a special cake.
Or circus; beach/luau; carnival; "under the sea" party or rodeo.

I had a big old party and what I did was got each of them their own themed cake..
DS's was soccer I think
DD (older one) had a disney princess theme
LO's birthday had a pink sweets and cupcake theme'
we also sang HB 3 times lol

Yup, this is what I was going to suggest.
We just had a combo party for my 1 & 4 year old girls and did a cupcake theme (wouldn't work for you I know)...but I made them their own cakes and sang to them separately.

Thank you all so much. After talking it over with the girls they decided on a carnival party. WOW there is so much we can do with that...i already booked with twinkle town and placed an order with oriental trading for a bunch of stuff. I appreciate all your help!
