Any last minute advice?
Tomorrow I am taking my 4 year old to an ice skating party. He has never been skating and I havent in 10+ years.
I called and they dont have double blades for the kids.
This is gonna be fun!

No advice, since I've never been on ice skates myself. Just lots of luck, have fun and hold on!!!

Re: Any last minute advice?
some skating rinks have little walkers they can use on the ice. Check to see if they have them.

This is true, my niece takes lessons and they give her kids size shopping carts to hold onto and it helps!

I never thought of that. Not sure about a helmet, but knee pads sounds like a good idea.
Would he be the only one with a helmet? Not to sound vain or anything...
oh yeah..... and what about me

Re: Any last minute advice?
Hi, definately bring the helmet. Don't be embarressed. You can keep it in a bag, and if none of the other kids have one, then leave it there...but at least you will have it.
I am taking Ava roller skating soon, and she will wear her helmet. When young kids are learning to ski, they wear helmets too.
As for you, hold on to the side and pray!!!! Good Luck!!
