Any moms have really bad morning sickness with one pregnancy and have none for another?
I think I want to go for a third next year. DH says he is DONE but I'm pretty sure I can convince him if I really want to go for a third. With both my sons, I had MISERABLE pregnancies. I threw up all day and night from week 6 until I delivered. I was totally out of commission. I felt so guilty to DS when he was a toddler. Thankfully DH and my mom took good care of him and often took him out to classes and to the playground. This time around, I would have two preschoolers or 1 kindergartener and 1 preschooler depending on when we had the third child.
I'm wondering if any moms out there had terrible morning sickness for one or more pregnancies but then had a pleasant pregnancy.

Re: Any moms have really bad morning sickness with one pregnancy and have none for another?
I had horrible morning sickness with DS (5-10 times a day) for seven full months. I was ok morning sickness wise for month 9 but I had other major complications with vision loss and preeclamsia. By contrast with DD I was sick maybe five times during week 6 and then had a great pregnancy. I felt fine. FWIW they were both breech babies. DS was a frank footling breech and DD was transverse breech. Good luck with your decision.

I had horrible morning sickness with my first DD. I threw up all day for 6/7 months and lost over 10lbs during that pregnancy. I had severe food aversions and could hardly eat anything. I'd have to force myself to eat a bagel.
This pregnancy, with another DD...is wonderful. I have not had nausea or vomitting. I am also eating every single thing in sight...lol
Good luck :)

I had it really bad with the second baby, throwing up for the first 5 months. Overall I felt pretty good though.
The first time I felt like I had the flu for 9 months, no energy, and tired. No throwing up, but I felt horrible all the time.

Re: Any moms have really bad morning sickness with one pregnancy and have none for another?
With #1 I had very little morning sickness. Just a little nausea. Mostly had the runs instead for a month but not bad. With #2 I was so sick. I constantly felt like I was going to be sick and just felt aweful until about 15 weeks. With #3 I was a little nauseous but nothing some carbs or gum couldn't help. I have had a great pregnancy so far despite having multiple family emergencies. In fact sometimes I forget I am pregnant and then start feeling baby kick me lol

Re: Any moms have really bad morning sickness with one pregnancy and have none for another?
With my first pregnancy, DS I was sick from 5.5 weeks on. Puking every day and feeling like absolute crap. With my sEcond pregnancy, DD I waited and waited for the puking to start and it never did. I would get some nausea here and there but eating would help ease it. I did start throwing up last month but I think in addition to the hormones a lot of it was anxiety because we were experiencing some complications and I was petrified of 2 under 2!
As previously stated, each pregnancy different. And a least it's not permanent. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
