Any New Moms Sleeping??
Just wondering how you are doing with your twins at night. I am pretty miserable and I have a ton of help. I get maybe 2-3 hours a night and have to sleep half my days away (when my MIL is here) to catch up. My boys are pretty good but they are starting to wake every 2 1/2 hours to feed. If one wakes up earlier then the other i do them seperately, but doing that takes up about an hour time. If they wake up together it's pure chaos...I am learing to feed them both with the boppys, but that is still a chore (especially when you are exhausted). I wake up my DH for the 2 o'clock feeding, but the 5 o'clock one he is already out of the house for work so i am on my own. My Mom does the 11 o'clock feeding with me which helps out a lot...but still by the time you feed, burp, sooth and have them lay down it takes at least an hour or hour and a half.
I just want to see some light at the end of this tunnel. it's been 6 weeks, and I just want to see some movement. I have to go back to work in 6 weeks and don't know what i am going to do if it stays like this. I can't function without a certain number of hours of sleep.
Thanks for letting me vent.

I assume they wake up on their own. Maybe up the oz's and they will sleep longer. It does get easier..I remeber thinking how the hell could anyone work with twins...it's exhausting.

Re: Any New Moms Sleeping??
Just started to this week. At 10 weeks, the twins started sleeping through the night! Now, they take a bottle at 9-9:30 and sleep till 6-6:30. There IS light at the end of the tunnel.

Re: Any New Moms Sleeping??
Mine have been getting a little off schedule thanks to my MIL...when she watches and feeds them, one may doze off to sleep and she will NOT try to wake them and finish the bottles, o when the night comes...they want to eat every 3 hours. They have been going 4 hours during the day.
I feel your pain because I want them to sleep longer at night as well, and sometimes I have good nights and sometimes I feel like we took some steps backwards

What's sleep?
I think I'm deprived enough to not realize just how tired I am. I'll be up during the night and by the time morning comes, I have a burst of energy and I don't and can't sleep. It's definitely catching up with me.
