Any nusery ideas for renters( white walls etc)
We are not allowed to paint the walls...so its gonna stay white..well its like a cream color...and Im wondering how to decorate it to look like a nursery.
Any websites with nice Rugs? Or accents for baby?

what about those great wall stickers that are removable??? They come in a multitude of designs/themes.
can you hang things on the wall? Maybe if you get more than one blanket/quilt, you could hang quilt clips and use them as wall hangings ( I want to do this....we got several really adorable quilts one being handmade and I want to display them)

We're renters as well - I'm thinking of getting some sort of bookshelf or combo changing table/shelf unit and painting the backs of the shelves in a color.
I'm also thinking of buying fabric (I like the prints from marimekko) and stretching the fabric and stapling it onto a really large frame made out of 1" by 2" pieces of wood. . . it's something they do on those design on a dime/trading spaces episodes all the time. It's as light as a feather - attaches with nails and can be a huge block of color on your wall.

That is a GREAT Idea! I may very well steal it!
Now I need a staple gun though...

You could also hang your bedding comforter on the wall since you don't use it...my walls are a cream color and I went with a bold colored pattern, not pastel, and got the accent pieces to go with it to hang on the wall.

steal away!!!!! my parent's neighbor is a contractor and lent me his electric staple gun once - it's so much fun to use! I was searching for things to use it with.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with your nursery - I'll post pics when we start on ours.

You can hang the baby name in decorative letters on the wall.

we rent as well. we have alphabet cards all around the room like a boarder and we put them up with 3M removable sticky squares... with those on the wall, we really don't need anything else. we put up some book shelves too... oh- and we got a throw rug from pottery barn kids and some nice curtains/curtain rod from there as well to dress up the room.
the cards are eeBoo and there are a bunch of different styles- we have the animals:

The removable stickers are cute. We have some in the baby's room now [now formerly the "playroom" for our 5 year old] and they will easily come down. When I had my daughter, I couldn't paint the walls either, I did however put together some cute puzzles, "saved" them with puzzle glue and hunge them on the walls as well. That way her room had some pictures up [I hate "bare" walls] even though there were none of her yet!

Re: Any nusery ideas for renters( white walls etc)
Here is Ryan's room and his white walls...
I just took these esp. for you (woke the little guy up while doing it and everything )
Dont mind the mess- RJ had a play date today...
I bought the plaques from home interiors...
I hung the "quilt" from his bedding on the wall- since he likes soft blankets anyway...
The shelf my SIL made based off his bedding(which use to be up- until he pulled off the mobile.. and I removed the bumpers, after finding him trapped underneath them ) Image Attachment(s):

Re: Any nusery ideas for renters( white walls etc)
The wallie stickers are great. We rent also but were allowed to paint as long as we paint it back to white when we move out--- but I did use the wallies in her room --- this is just some pics of what I did with them -- and I love that they are easily removable so that we can use them again in her next room if we want to.
They were inexpensive, around $7 from a home interiors party. I painted the stems & grass on myself----but it only took about 5 minutes after putting the wallies on..
