Any of you ladies give birth to a baby girl at NSUH Manhasset recently?

If so, did the put the girly bow/flower hospital hat on the baby? I know some hospitals have special hats with a bow or flower on it that they use for little girls. I don't plan on finding out the gender of this baby, but if by chance this is a girl I really want her to have a girly hat. lol Anyhow, I thought I'd ask, before I spend the money on it (since I'm not sure if it will be used).

well 4yrs ago with dd#1 they put a plain yellow hat that had a bow on it on her and then gave me the other pink blue white striped one to interchange them when i wanted to

but 2yrs ago with dd#2 they didnt give us any with the bow not sure why, i didnt think about it because it wasnt a big deal for me so im guessing if you ask for it they'll have it???.....i remember when we got the one with the yellow bow one of the nurses commented how "isnt that hat adorable? one of the nurses in the nursery makes them"

They gave me a plain pale yellow hat and a pink/blue striped hat at NSUH when my DD was born 18 months ago... I didn't ask if they had one with a bow, but they never offered.

I had my DD on 6/25 there and they just gave her the pink and blue striped hat.

Thanks ladies. I went ahead and ordered a girly hat to take with me in case I end up on team pink. And if it's a boy I will just ebay it I guess.
