Any one else feel this way???
Please don't take this the wrong way- it's not meant to be negative- I'm actually kind of laughing as I type it but just HAD to ask...
I just hopped over on PG to see if MrsRivera posted that she got her BFP... and I read some of the responses... One said (and please don't take offense if that person comes over here and reads this b/c i know you were an IFer as well and it is IN NO WAY to insult you)
"... I love seeing graduates from infertility"...
I don't know why but this just cracked me up- I feel like I'm just a really slow learner, KWIM? I don't even know if that made sense  but it just made me  and I wanted to share to see if anyone else felt this way.
This post isn't being made to have any in-depth meaning or discussions- I just had a little chuckle and wanted to share!
ETA: I'm SO EXCITED for you Beth!!! I hope we all join you soon!

I just take it as this: others know alllll the extras we have to go through to "graduate", so it's always nice to see us make it to the "other side".
But you're right--kinda makes me feel like I have a learning disability or something--we just don't learn as quickly as everyone else

thanks! I saw all these people read my post but didn't respond and i started thinkig I wrote something 'wrong'  I hope it didn't come off that way- it wasn't my goal...
EXACTLY!!!!! It just really made me start laughing to read it--- though I'm really happy that so many ppl over there are so happy to see you join them!!!

Sorry for intuding,but as a preggo, I lurk over here and on TTC sometimes. I like to offer encouragement and I wish we were all on the PG board together!
I didn't post that response, but I know what the person meant (i think). It is just wonderful to see someone who is having a hard time concieving finally get their wish! You girls go through so much, (sometimes beyond what is fair or expected) that it makes that BFP even sweeter and more exciting. Good luck to all and I hope to see you all over on the PG board soon!

I've actually posted that a few times.
I guess it's because I know what it's like and am really happy for those who get that bfp. I've been one of those "graduates". Everytime I saw that it gave me hope.
At the same time, I also know what it's like to not get that bfp and always hope and pray for those who are still on the journey.
Now I have this vision of spermies with caps and gowns on...

Iv'e written this before too. Even though I do not post much on this board, I am always watching and reading the stories, and I DO write when I feel like i have something to contribute or just for support.
I am always SUPER excited when someone from here gets PG.
There are a couple of girls I just pray for all the time, and let me tell you when it heappnes for them, I am going to rent a stage,some caps and gowns, and there will be a PARTY!
but its graduating from an honor society, not a reject society. It's harder than most have to endure, so please please never take that comment in a bad note. It's only meant to be uplifting and supportive, and I do apologize if its ever upset anyone.

OMG I did not take it in bad taste at all. I am just so uptight and serious that I have to learn sometimes to laugh at myself. And find some humor where ever I can find it. Please DO NOT feel bad about your post at all. It was sincere and in my opinion very heart felt. And I would like to apologize if my post made you feel bad because that was not my intention at all. You by no means offended me in the least. Your a sweetheart.

I didn't take the comment in a bad note at all-- I agree it's totally uplifting and supportive When I read it yesterday (and it wasn't your post) I thought it was Please don't think for a second that you should be apologizing!!!

I'm actually the one that wrote that post. I meant it in the nicest most sincere way. I have an a special place in my heart for all the ladies that I was once on the infertility board with. I have been there and have felt the heartache like everyone else. I still come to this board and check in even b4 I go to the pregnancy board. The term "graduate" wasn't something that I came up with on my own, many of the girls on the pregnancy board say they are "graduating" to the pregnancy board now. I have never posted anything negative or participated in any of the drama on any of these boards, nor do I want to start any drama now. I am actually a little upset and offended that the originally poster would write this post knowing that I was just recently struggling with infertility. I just wanted to send an extra little :"shout out" to someone who struggled the same way I did.

You didn't sound offended and I think you tried very hard to make that clear when you first started this thread. And you continued to do that in your posts following. So as I stated in my prior post that this is such a sensitive matter and we just tried to lighten up a bit with some humor. We have to learn how to laugh at ourselves sometimes. So lets all stop feeling bad and let it go. I know I am all druged up with hormones. One minute I am laughing the next I am crying. I am so sensitive I have to watch myself all the time. I feel like I have been to hell. Sorry if I am out of line but its just my take on it.
