Any one have a completely different pregnancy the second time around?
First Born: No morning sickness, no crazy eating binges, no cramping , no headaches, no boob pain, no weight gain, no hormonal attitude changes...nada...zilch
This time at 8 weeks: I am sick all day and every day. I cannot stop eating and even after i eat I am starving. I am having progesterone issues. I am moody as heck. My boobs are on fire. I have massive headaches and I am only 8 weeks...
bleh...never again people....never again
Two and done for us for sure....

Each of my pregnancies were different. Third being the worst by far!
Hang in there and take it easy.

We are having our first and I wish I was so lucky this first time around. I am sick all day, every day! I told my hubbie last night "never again, we are done" - he is hoping that this ends after the 1st trimester and that I forget about it

Flip them, and you described mine. The 1st was headaches, fire boobs, insatiable hunger, etc.. This time I could be one of those women on "I didn't know I was pregnant" Both boys.

Re: Any one have a completely different pregnancy the second time around?
YES!!!!!
I told DH had my 1st pregnancy been like this one, DD would have been an only child.
I LOVED being pregnant with her. This pregnancy, can end soon enough. I had m/s from 4.5 weeks until 17 weeks.
I'm just a complete miserable human being these days.

Re: Any one have a completely different pregnancy the second time around?
I'm only 15 weeks and I had twins my first pregnancy, but this one is worse so far.
First pregnancy I had skin issues, linea negeria (sp?) at 12 weeks, huge appetite, but no morning sickness or headaches at all.
This pregnancy I had morning sickness up until 12 weeks, now headaches, no skin issues, no sign of linea negeria to date, no big appetite. And even though I only have 1 this time I am bigger then I was when I had two at this time. Crazy!!

Re: Any one have a completely different pregnancy the second time around?
completely different...i did not have morning sickness with either but with #2, I was very nauseous in the beginning to the point that I would not want to eat.
I had very bad headaches with #1 starting around 11 weeks & have not had them with #2. Cravings are COMPLETELY different. With #1, I wanted salty stuff, this time, cake & chocolate.
I also swelled severly with #1 & this one, nothing so far & I am approaching 29 weeks

No and Yes...
Hard to explain and well duh, we know why but its been a good prengnancy and nothing really different from 1st except minor things, getting bigger soon and now at the end, huge and some aches/pains I never felt with DD.

Re: Any one have a completely different pregnancy the second time around?
I had more ms this time around- and the only reason I say it's different cause I'm more miserable due to the heat! DH already commented on when to try for #3 so that I'm not preg or due in summer I was like ummmmm can I deliver this one first

So far they're the same, but I'm pretty early still. Ask me again in a few weeks.

Re: Any one have a completely different pregnancy the second time around?
Some similarties, some differences.
With Nausea 1st tri, "dog nose" Short cervix, on bedrest from week 16 Only gained 15lbs, was carrying very high Had a pretty easy pregnancy for the most part, not much to complain about.
Now, with Nausea in 1st & 3rd tri, much worse "dog nose" for the entire PG. Cervix is fine, but gall stones acting up...been hospitalized twice. Because of gall stones, I have lost 4lbs since I found out I was PG...no weight gain. Carrying very low & forward. I am miserable. My boobs hurt, I looked like a teenager with ache my first tri, I'm always hungry, tired all the damn time, hormonal as hell...and it doesn't help that I'm in the last 3 months during this summer heat...I'm truly a miserable b!tch...poor DH.
So I will have a and a , and my new motto is One and One and I AM DONE! Lol
