Re: any one taking clomid
i posted this on the pregnancy board one girl said she got preg a couple of times on it and that it took as little as 2 months for her then up to 5 months.. Another girl said it worked in the first month and it was with TWINS!!!
i just got af today so depressing i swore this month it would not affect me again because i knew i was starting clomid.. but it is so hard..no one ever told us getting pregnant would be this hard..
When do you usually start taking clomid.. i know it says anywhere from day 3 - 5 of your cycle.. so tomorrow will be calling my dr to call in rx asap do they think they can call that in or do you have to get an ultrasound again and more blood work?? they did do an ultrasound and blood work last friday.... my next appt is for the 20th which is day 5 i do not want to wait another month to start this process...
Anyway this clomid seems very promising thank GOD

Re: any one taking clomid
I just started yesterday. After reading all the previous posts about it on the IF board, I'm getting kinda scared about all the side effects.

Re: any one taking clomid
I took Clomid for 2 cycles and combined it with IUI because it tends to dry up CM. If you just do Clomid, preseed would be a good idea. My RE recommended 3 cycles of Clomid since most pregnancies will happen within that time frame. GL!

My RE recommended I use the First Response OPK and not use the digital OPKs. In my case, I needed to see the progression of the test line as I was monitored extreamly closely on Clomid

Re: any one taking clomid
I began taking the clomid day 3 through 7 of my cycle. Then btw days 10-13 I went back for an ultrasound. 2 days later my doctor gave me the trigger shot. This whole process is becoming so stressful. I thought you can only do 3 cycles at a time. I guess I am going to have check on that. Hopefully by next cycle I will get my bfp. I don't think it worked this cycle I feel crampy like Af is on her way. Took a test this morning and it was a bfn!

Re: any one taking clomid
I'm on Clomid now- my second cycle. I took clomid to get pregnant with DD and it was obviously successful. It took me the 2nd round of Clomid in conjunction with the digital OPK's & charting to have a BFP.
edited to add: i haven't had a problem with the drying of CM- but if you do have that problem, try the preseed.

Re: any one taking clomid
I was TTC for 10 months when my Dr. put me on clomid. The second month I got my BFP! I believe I took it days 3-7. Good Luck! ETA: I used the CBFM to keep track of ovulation.

Re: any one taking clomid
I am currently on my first month of clomid. I got a peak reading on CBEFM and now I am waiting to see what happens. I tested friday and got a BFN, but no AF yet, so I am still hopeful, just waiting it out.

Re: any one taking clomid
I have done five cycles of clomid. My last cycle was 150mg. I had five follies and did IUI. I got pregnant on this cycle. Unfortunately I had a m/c at 6 weeks, but it did get me pregnant. I do not ovulate on my own, though.
ETA: if you are going to go the clomid route I suggest going to see an RE. Most ob/gyns do not do proper monitoring of clomid cycles.

Re: any one taking clomid
my office is pretty good and the main OB is a fertility specialist.... I am happy because they are taking an aggressive approach.. During my first cycle which I start tomorrow... they will actually be testing my follicle again on the 28th and then I have to go in within 24 hours of bding right after my first +opk so they can test my cervical mucus..If it comes back hostile they will be doing an IUI during my 2nd cycle..
Thanks for all your input ladies!!!
to all of you
