me me! well, almost vegan. i do eat some dairy but only when i know where it came from.... i'd love to chat!

I do not eat dairy though... I'm just trying to make sure I'm getting enough calcium in me - I've been vegan for almost 10 years and have been feeling great, but I know the baby is ging to take all my calcium away - my dr, says to take supplements, but I haven't been able to take anything due to m/s, but now I'm willing to try again - what about you? What do you take for calcium?

I just read in What to Expect that you don't actually need to drink milk, that you just need to make sure you're getting calcium. So I'm sure you will be fine if you just take a supplement, when your M/S gets better. I've been taking the Trader Joes Calcium supplements (two pills a day), and their Prenatals as well because they're totally vegan.

I've been vegetarian since I was 12 (I'm 29 now!) and can't even imagine going back!
