Any other way to grind coffee beans other than a grinder?

I accidentally bought whole coffee beans. Is there any way I can shred them without buying a coffee grinder? (food processor, blender, etc) I cannot return the beans, I opened them and hate to throw them out.

You definitely need a grinder or mill because they have special settings that a hammer *lol* lacks. Different coffee makers need the beans grounded (or grinded, I forget the proper word)differently.

Do you still have the receipt? The grocery store usually has a grinder on premise. Tell them what happened and ask them if you can run it through the grinder.

Do you have a BJ's card? BJ's has a grinder and they sell DD coffee (I'm pretty sure?).. so you can just grind it. I would also try just taking it to a local supermarket. It's not like your stealing lol you're just borrowing their grinder.

I think it's just ground. Chat Icon

Anyway, go back to the store. You could call first, if you are afraid they'll think you stole it, but it's probably not a big deal.

Do you have a magic bullet blender? We grind coffee beans in ours and they come out fine.

You can buy a small grinder for $10 at Linens'n'things. Or just bring it back.

I will tell you that fresh ground coffee rocks. Go get yourself a cheap grinder and enjoy.
