Agreed with PP. It was no BDB, but I did enjoy Immortals After Dark by Kresley Cole.
PS is you like BDB, Ward has a cross-over series The Fallen Angels.

I would definately go for Immortals After Dark. I love the series. I actually like it better than BDB.
