Any PTA members?
If you are a PTA member or even someone who puts together community events I have a question. Where do you look for vendors to come to your events? I am looking for people to come to our school.

Any PTA members?
What kind of events? Do you mean Arts in Education programming....programs for the students during the school day or events like a Family Fun Night or Craft Fair fundraiser that take place after school?
If it is a program to be presented to the students during school hours you may be limited to hiring performers approved by BOCES.
If not, I would check in the back of local parenting newspapers and magazines that you can get free at the library.
What exactly are you looking for and where are you located...Nassau or Suffolk?

Any PTA members?
I mean fundraising events where I get people to come in and have a table at an event....crafts, food etc. educational programs I can look into and then bring them to the attention of the principal

Our PTA gets so many raffle items. They have a committee of people who go to every business in town, plus some reliable vendors who contribute every year. It is a lot of work & you should have help.
Oh, you are looking for vendors for tables. That would be s bit different. First, make sure the parents at the school know about it. If they have businesses, they often want to participate for their own PTA.

look for Independent Consultants in your area (ie: direct sales reps)
I sell Thirty-One Gifts and I am always looking for places to setup a table and sell or make contacts.
Where is your school? I would love to participate if I am not too far. I can help you do a fundraiser too!

There is a Long Island networking moms group that has is all business owners from Long Island that can help you.

Also, there are many vendor groups on Facebook that you can search on. I'm a member of a lot of them.
