any rainy day fun activity ideas?
for a 2 year old and 4 year old? It is only 8:30 and I am already worried these kids will be so bored!!! Any ideas for this mom over here???

couple of things you can do:
-library
-indoor play area
-LI Children's Museum
-see a movie

shopping mall
library
a special lunch out
indoor activities:
arts and crafts
play doh
singing and dancing
movie
bake something in the kitchen!

we are headed to the supermarket. I told DS it is his job to pick out the cookie mix. I am going to piggy back some errands on top of this , then we are going to go home and make cut out gingerbread man shaped cookies and decorate them. Hopefully that will bring us to nap time!

this sounds like fun!! It's a great day to bake with mom! You can also have them create their own pizza for lunch/dinner!

Make a tent, fill it with pillows and books and give the kids a flashlight. I did this once on a rainy day and DS loved it. He wanted to read his night time books with a flashlight for days.

Thanks for the ideas! I'm gonna take a ride... Aka let them nap while I get a drive thru coffee and then make a jello pie.. With their help... And if we are still bored we will do the tent with flashlights! Great suggestions! I know they love the movies but its just me and them and I'm 4 weeks from my due date I don't know if I can do it!
