At this point - I'm a 38E - the only thing that "minimizes" is a sports bra. You have to find one in a real size (38E, 36DD, etc.) because L and XL don't cut it. And don't bother with anything that doesn't have an underwire (although, if you are big-chested you knew this already!). I have a comfy one made by Lily of France, from Kohl's.
As far as brands of everyday bras... I've just been going to Kohl's and buying whatever I can find in my size. The Vanity Fair brand is good. It is comfortable and doesn't have any show-through under thinner shirts. The pickings are slim, and I've found myself wandering to the "Full Figured" section even though I'm a size 6.
Don't spend too much money on bras, though: I'm only 22w and my size has changed twice already! Oh, and I got "fitted" at Destination Maternity and bought a bra there, but it was not as good quality as the department store brands. I'd stick to Kohls, Marshalls, Macys (on sale), places like that.

Thanks! I actually bought one at Kohl's yesterday by Bali but I didn't like it when I got home. I felt like it gave me no shape at all....like I have 2 large pancakes glued to my chest. LOL
I'll check out the vanity fair ones. Thanks!

Re: Any recommendations for bras from the big chested ladies?
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Lane Bryant's Cacique Bras. They're the same manufacturer as the Victoria's Secret bras. I actually get asked by my female chesty coworkers what bra I wear because it makes the girls look pretty darn nice and well supported.
I hear they're changing their bras, though, which upsets and perplexes me. Don't fix what ain't broke!!!
FYI... When I got pregnant, I went up a cup size. Before pregnancy, I measured a DD, but felt like a C fit better! Now that the girls have GROWN, I went up to a D and it feels and looks great!
They usually have good sales on their bras... buy 2 get 1 or something like that. And right now, you earn Real Women Dollars.

Re: Any recommendations for bras from the big chested ladies?
My suggestion is 2 good bras while pg and then invest in 3 REALLY nice ones if nursing. I was a 40F while nursing and spent tons on bras that never worked. I suggest bare essentials.com, lane bryant while pg, and linda the bra lady online for nursing and regular bras. They are pricey, but as a bigger chested girl I expect to pay about $50-$60 on a good bra anyway.
