Any recommendations on a pacifier to try with BF..
I decided to give one to DD because she uses me as a pacifier in the early evenings (at least I feel like she does) I have tried the NUK ones and some other one from Geber that DH found and is suppose to be easy for babies who BF.

I've heard the Soothies are best (the ones they have in the hospital). DD prefers MAMS though and we've had no issues with nipple confusion at all.

I bought the Soothies from BRU for DD. I will see how she likes it when she gets here.

Let me know when you find one. Right now I am the human pacifier. NOTHING WORKS!! We tried soothies, nuks, avents, and just the other day we got the gerber ones(they mimic the breast by moving in and out when DC sucks) They seem to be the best so far but DS usually will spit it out and look for me instead.

My issue with DD is that she will let me put it in her mouth but then she gags on it. And I think she definitly needs one because she will be fussy like she wants to eat suck for a second and then I look down and she is asleep on my boob like it is a pillow . It's hard for me to soothe her also because it seems like almost everytime I hold her she is rooting and when she is on DH she is just fussy.

They gave NUK's in the hospital. I always thought they were the best.

I EBF and my son uses Avent Pacifiers. He doesnt really like Paci's though. He likes his hand better or my boob. Your child might be cluster feeding in the evening which my son also does.
