Re: any recs for pms mood ?

If you find out let me know.
It's awful.
I get so sad, and so emotional for no reason.
I get depressed to the point of not wanting to get out of bed.
Everything bothers me.
And also the anxiety. I wake up with anxiety for no reason for the week leading up to my period.
I take CBD for the anxiety and it helps that racing heart, anxious in my chest feeling- but it doens't help the other stuff.
Just wanted to sympathize with you!

Oh there's a reason!
It's hormonal. PMS sucks big time.

I never found anything that would help. I'd usually issue a warning in advanceChat Icon

All of this. You’re not alone. I haven’t found anything that can help. I try to just go with it and feel whatever I need to feel.

I have weaved in & out of pms issues and have found that if I focus on balancing my hormones i get the best results. Here are a few resources that helped me:

I want to look at these 2 sites later, when i have some time, thanks for posting, but quick question- when you say balancing your hormones- are you doing it naturally with supplements etc? Or with drugs of some kind?

I feel the same way :( But I think mine could be menopause, and that makes me want to cry more because it means I'm old. I also have a big birthday in a few days and I think that is what is making me emotional. I've been on the verge of tears for days.

Re: any recs for pms mood ?

So I not one to push booze, but to be honest, a single glass of wine, really takes the edge off for me.
Better than the CBD even.
Not always feasible if it's morning, or you are at work, or driving etc

But sitting on the couch and having just one glass (any more makes it worse sometimes) really helps me feel a WORLD of better.

Thanks ladies. I appreciate your suggestions.
So I wanted to stop at vitamin shoppe or Sherry's but i am so depressed I came home gave kisses and been barricaded in my bedroom. I fear if i speak itll be war lol

@Nell - wine is def my friend in these times. I will have some 6 grapes later cause it has to be something strong.

I am gonna look at those websites later and buy the other stuff. anything is worth a try at this point.

I think it could be menopause too. That progest. creme sounds like a good idea. Today I was freezing. I went for a walk about 2pm in my long sleeve hoodie head covered and all Chat Icon

Im 49 in september and im finding that since last year every month the pms symptoms get worse and worse. there has to be a better way.

My friend recommended Evening Primrose Oil and I felt it did work. My doctor said it was fine to take.

I take either Sunday Scaries gummies or Sugar and Kush gummies or oil tincture. Both are delicuous. The Sugar and Kush brand is cheaper/you get more for your money though.
It's not mind altering at all. You don't get any high as it contains no THC.
I find it eases my anxiety/that anxious feeling in my chest...especially before my period when I wake with anxiety for no reason.
It also helps me sleep as it kind of just relaxes me and stops my mind from racing.
It's a very subtle effect

I might have to try this. I’ve been afraid that will get me loopy lol. Do you have a preference between the oil and gummies?

Won't get you loopy at all. In fact you won't really "feel" anything except you will notice you feel calmer, more chill and things bother you less. It helps my anxious feeling in my chest too.
The oil is more expensive but I find it's faster acting. You put the dose under your tongue and I think it absorbs faster that way. I usually do oil at night, gummies during the day.
You also have to play with the dose. My sweet spot is about 30 mg or so but I started with less. They say start low, like 10 mg or so and if it doesnt do much, increase the dose.

Both from their websites.

Sugar and Kush
They have 30 percent off site wide right now- they have the code listed at the top of the page.

Sunday Scaries
They have a vegan option that tastes like sour patch kids- as well as the gummies and oils as well

Both are reputable and lab tested to show no THC in their products.

My anxiety is literally through the roof for no reason a few days before my period. These help me function
