Any restaurants on Rt 111 in Smithtown?
I need to pick up a gift certificate for a family member who just moved to Smithtown. The directions tell me to go via Rt 111, so I was hoping there is something good there, so I can stop on my way. Any suggestions? TIA

Old Street Pub is where 111 and jericho meet.

Thanks - it says 92 E Main Street. Is 111 the same as Main Street?

they're perpendicular.
Butera's just opened a location on Main St. in Smithtown --- just a block from 111 and worth it!
111 is the Uncle Giuseppe's shopping center, Alpine Bakery, etc.

How do I get from 111 to Main STreet? Will there be a sign? Sorry for my ignorance, I only know Nassau.

are you coming from the LIE?
OK, north on route 111, you'll pass Uncle Giuseppe's on your right, make a LEFT at Millennium Diner (there's a light) on to Main Street. Butera's is not too far down on the right side. (Across from Daffy's shopping center)

You will see a bunch of restaurants on 25 as you are heading east.
Casa Rustica, H2O and there's a steakhouse that I can't remember the name of on the left.
Butera's and Old Street Pub are on the left.
