Since we are coming from Boston, I need recommendations for everything -- peditricians, pcp, dentist, hair stylist, delivery food, etc..... Are there any local message boards or email lists??

Welcome to Westchester! I love it and hopefully you will enjoy it as much. I live in Bronxville which is just south of scarsdale. There are a few of us on LIF that live in Westchester and I know there was a thread recently about organizing a GTG.
Our pediatrician is Dr. Angelo at Lawrence Park Associates on Central Park Ave in Yonkers and I really like him. I got the rec from Metsgirlie. Here's the info:

My dentist is Dr. Foto in Bronxville. (914) 337-7270
I don't have a PCP but need one so if you get a good rec I would love to know!
I also don't have a hair stylist. I still travel to LI to get my hair done. I have gone to Hair Station in Tuckahoe in an emergency.
The delivery places I use probalby won't help you much since we are in Bronxville. But chowhound.com has a pretty decent forum on restaurants in westchester. I have found that helpful. I have not found any other good forums/message boards though.

Ok I see sjm71505 filled you in. let's definitley do a GTG I'm off on every Wed

Yes I just switched recently because I wanted to be home for my son's PT session @ 3:00.

Ok, I'm moved in! Still interested in getting together? What are the ages of your kids? If they are all under 2, I'd vote for the morning so that my 3.5 year old is at preschool and we can actually talk! hehe.

Just saw this...
Congrats on the move!! I hope you are settled.
I am off on Wednesdays. I have Music class with DD at 11:45 but I could do something before it. I also do stroller strides in the morning but I can skip it whenever.
my DD is 6 mos, BTW
