Any second tri-ers NOT feeling that burst of energy?

Maybe it's b/c I haven't been sleeping so well, or b/c I just teach lots of yoga, but I am consistently tired! Never really got that spurt of energy they say.....

I feel the same way. I keep telling people i don't know what they mean when they talk about second trimester energy. It definitely hasn't kicked in for me.

I do notice that I am slightly less tired that early on, but definitely still much more tired then before i was pregnant.

I am still tired and getting scared because I have been off and lazy all summer and start working again next week and have no clue how I will be getting up at 6am everyday

I think I am actually just as tired in the 2nd as I was in the 1st. I am now approaching the 3rd and I don't think it's going to get any better. I can literally sleep all. day. long.

so far i'm just as tired, but i'm much less nauseous (it's still lingering though...). but i'm only 15 weeks, so i'll give it a couple of more weeks before i start crying.

i just started feeling less tired and I am about 22 weeks. I am hoping this lasts for a little bit!

I am just feeling that burst of energy now - at 30 weeks. This is the first week that I haven't been in bed by 9pm or earlier.

I attribute it to it being 90 degrees most of the summer, I work in the city 32 hours a week and I have a 2 1/2 year old to chase when I get home.

Up until now I've had most of my energy in the morning so that's when I try to get things done.

Everyone gets that burst at different times. Don't feel bad about it your body is working hard right now.

I certainly haven't been feeling a burst of energy! I'm still tired! Not as tired as the first trimester, but still tired all the same. I've been waiting!

I was never stomach sick and never threw up....so THAT has been wonderful!

I didn't really have much energy in my 2nd tri to have really noticed but I'm am not in my 3rd tri and feel more enegry which is weird. I guess the nesting phase came early for me because all I want to do is clean.

Sometimes I feel more tired now than I did in my first tri. In the first tri I was soooo sick, but I actually wasn't that tired. Now I feel good considering that I'm not sick, but I feel completely drained some days and I can't stay awake when watching TV. I need to DVR everything!

I never had a burst of energy...but, I will say you get more tired in the third tri, so try to use whatever energy you do have now.

Me too, I have always been tired. I actually feel more tired in the 2nd trimester then 1st.

I never got that burst of energy during the 2nd tri. I was feeling better and not as tired as the first tri, but I definitely didn't have any energy!
