Any suggestions for birth announcements?
I didn't like kodakgallery.com's selection. And I don't really want to pay $1.00 EACH. Any recommendations where I can put together a photo announcement and have them printed up?
TIA>...

Re: Any suggestions for birth announcements?
I was going to suggest the woman I used but they were $1 each. How about shutterfly, I know they let you use multiple photos now on the 4x8 cards.

Re: Any suggestions for birth announcements?
Lukies were done by "kims photo creations". I think they were like $1 each though. I loved them, thought they came out great. http://www.kimsphotocreations.com/

Re: Any suggestions for birth announcements?
Costco has some nice ones. It is $15.99 for 50 announcements and then $5.99 for each additional 25. Go to the wesite and sign into the Photo Center. I also think you don't have to be a member to use the photo center. If you do and you dn't have a membership I'll give you my # so you can set up an account.

I did mine at winkflash.com and they came out great
They are .39 cents each, but right now they have a sale for .23 cents each and they have very reasonable shipping rates

Re: Any suggestions for birth announcements?
We actually got ours custom made at Proper Papers in Plainview but for Jacob's 1st Birthday my husband used photoshop and then we used Winflash and it was very inexpensive...

Re: Any suggestions for birth announcements?
I've also done birth announcements for friends and had them printed through Vista Print. I can help you out if needed as well.

Shutterfly or Snapfish?
Snapfish often has great deals.

Re: Any suggestions for birth announcements?
Create them in a photoshop type program and upload them to shutterfly or ofoto as jpegs and print like regualr photos on photo paper. Costs the same as printing a regular picture.

Just an FYI - Costco is 38 cents for a 5x7 (cheaper than ofoto/shutterfly). You can email them the photo & pick it up later.

I just did the twins first birthday invitations here. I designed them myslef using photoshop, then printed them on their plain 5x7 invitation. It came out great. Only .23 cents a piece.
