Any suggestions re: daycare/babysitting
My DH has been offered an interview (which he really wants to go on). If he gets the job, his hours would change and we would need someone to watch the baby for about 2 hours a day from 2-4. Does anyone know if Tutor Time or another place would take DS for only 2 hours a day? Ideally, I would love to have someone come to my house to take care of him for those hours- that way I will be home in time to get my older son off the school bus without driving anywhere to pick my little guy up. Any ideas? And if I decided to look into having someone watch DS at my house or closeby to my house, where would I even begin to look for someone who would be interested in doing this? TIA

The Tutor Time by me only does part time mornings (8-12ish), but that is West Islip, so I don't know if they all follow the same schedule..
Try looking in your local paper (Suffok Life, etc), usually local care providers will advertise when they have availability - usually the smaller ones or ones that run out of someone's home..
Also you can look in the yellow pages online and see what day care is by you and give them a call..
Good luck!

I would look into getting a college student to do it. Don't know if you are by any colleges, but you could post an ad there, especially if they have an earlly childhood major.

You could call your local high school. Sometimes they can recommend a neighborhood student.
